Information we collect
Information you provide. When you submit our Get-a-Quote form, the contact form, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you give us, typically name, email address, phone number, company name, segment and stage, current policy renewal date, and any additional context you share about your coverage needs.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records basic technical information on each request: IP address, browser type and version, device information, the pages visited on this site, and the referring URL. This information is used for security, error diagnostics, and aggregate traffic analysis.
Cookies and similar technologies. This site does not currently set third-party advertising or tracking cookies. The on-site search feature (Pagefind) uses your browser's local storage to cache the search index for performance; no search queries are transmitted off-device.
How we use information
We use the information you share to:
- Respond to your inquiries and prepare insurance quotes and coverage reviews
- Communicate with you about coverage options, renewals, and follow-up questions
- Operate, secure, and improve this website and our services
- Comply with insurance regulations, recordkeeping requirements, and other legal obligations
Because coverage is placed through Tower Street Insurance's carrier appointments, information you provide may be shared with Tower Street Insurance and the relevant insurance carriers for underwriting, quoting, and policy issuance purposes.
How we share information
We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Carriers and underwriters. With Tower Street Insurance's appointed carriers as needed to prepare a quote, place coverage, or service a policy.
- Service providers. With vendors that help us operate the site and our business (web hosting, email delivery, form submission processing). These vendors are contractually limited to using the information only to provide services to us.
- Legal compliance. When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MedTech Coverage, our clients, or others.
We do not sell personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the state you live in, applicable privacy laws (including CCPA in California, TDPSA in Texas, VCDPA in Virginia, CPA in Colorado, CTDPA in Connecticut, and UCPA in Utah) give you the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information, subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral advertising, but the right exists)
- Receive non-discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights

Data retention
We retain the information you share for as long as necessary to provide our services and as required by insurance regulations and applicable law. Insurance-related records are typically retained for at least seven years from the end of the policy period or the date of the last transaction, consistent with industry recordkeeping standards.
Children's privacy
This site is directed at business users and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we offer, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site or an email to active clients). Continued use of the site after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
